The exhibition deals with the modern architecture in Asmara, Eritrea’s capital—an architectural heritage left there by Italian regime in the days of Fascist leader Mussolini, that carries without doubt ‘heavy baggage’ of mixed emotions. The exhibition was curated by an organization called “The German organization for development in the third world”. It was displayed in association with Heinrich Böll Institute and the Bauhaus fund in Dessau.
