Irina’s poster, created for the 25th anniversary of the Bauhaus Center, reflects modernist clarity and minimalism, using geometric shapes and a restrained palette of white, sand, and gold. The original is a mixed-media work on canvas using oil, acrylic, chalk, sand, artificial gold, and texture paste.

Irina Zagato was born in 1973 in Latvia and became an Olah Hadasha in Israel in January 2023, together with her husband, a molecular biology scientist. Originally trained and working as an ophthalmologist, she later followed her dream of becoming an artist. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and further studied under leading Latvian artists. In 2025, she was recognized as an “exceptionally outstanding artist” by the Israeli Artists Committee.
