Description
My ink drawing depicts the Ship building precisely as I recall it – standing grandly at the curve, its rounded balconies flowing like waves, greeting and observing the everyday pace of the city. It’s not just a building – it’s my memory frozen in form. As a student, I rode the bus past this building twice a day; such memories make it more significant than any monument.
The minimalist shape and rounded balconies, all seen through a dusty bus window – that’s a type of experience that remains in my memory.
